About

A data consultancy that builds, ships, and stays honest.

Firasa Limited is a UK data consultancy based in the Midlands. We've been delivering enterprise data engineering since 2020 — across public sector, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, insurance, motor services, consumer data and food retail. We build the systems that make analytics dependable, and we ship productised tools where the same problem keeps coming up.

The story

Founded to build the data work properly.

Firasa was founded in 2020 to offer enterprise data services under a single banner — somewhere between the speed of a contractor and the institutional weight of a large consultancy. The work since then has spanned greenfield Fabric platforms for the public sector, large-scale legacy-to-cloud migrations in pharmaceuticals, multi-CRM integrations in manufacturing, demand-forecasting systems in motor services, and propensity modelling on consumer data at population scale.

In 2024 we started productising. The first product, SiteScout, is location intelligence for the UK food sector — five packages, real deliverables, no platform licences. More products will follow in adjacent domains where the underlying data problem is the same shape.

Sector experience

Six sectors. One playbook that adapts.

Each sector below represents real delivery — enterprise-scale platforms, production pipelines, governed warehouses, ML systems that are still running. We name the patterns, not the clients.

UK public sector

Greenfield enterprise data platform in Microsoft Fabric: Dev/Test/Prod workspaces, lakehouse + warehouse, governance framework, CI/CD — adopted as the blueprint for the organisation's long-term data strategy.

Healthcare & pharmaceuticals

Large-scale migration of wholesale pharmaceutical data (supply chain, warehousing, invoicing — hundreds of millions of records) onto a Fabric lakehouse with Kimball-modelled warehouse, SCD2 history and modern pipelines.

Manufacturing

Multi-CRM consolidation in Azure Synapse, transition from site-based to business-unit reporting, third-party API integration for financial reporting, and DevOps practices introduced across the data team.

Insurance & motor services

Short-term demand forecasting with feature engineering on weather and seasonality (SARIMAX), a forecasting tool with its own training database, MLOps to take models cleanly from dev to prod with automated testing.

Consumer data

Propensity modelling on 20M+ records (XGBoost on combined consumer + behavioural panels), PySpark refactor that cut multi-day processes to under an hour, automated regulatory reporting, NLP for complaints categorisation at scale.

Food retail (productised)

SiteScout: a clean UK food-establishment universe, a fine-grained-resolution gravity-based demand model, longitudinal opening/closing history, and five packaged deliverables for owners, property advisors, chains and franchisors.

How we work

Principles, not posters.

Build to hand over

We document lineage, write the runbooks, and leave conventions a future team can extend. Our deliverables don't depend on us coming back next year.

Governance from day one

Access controls, data quality contracts, audit trails and version-controlled deployments are part of the build — not a slide deck delivered at the end.

Right-sized solutions

We won't sell you a 1,000-DBU cluster, a six-figure platform licence, or a team of seven where one engineer would do. Cost-aware architecture is a feature.

Honest about limits

Every system has trade-offs. We name ours up front — including the things that would need a follow-on engagement — so you can decide rather than discover.

Mentor the in-house team

Where there are in-house analysts and engineers, we work alongside them. Knowledge transfer is part of the engagement, not an optional extra.

Productise the recurring

When the same data problem keeps appearing across clients, we build the productised version — see SiteScout. The bespoke work funds the products; the products keep the rates reasonable.
